This is the copy/pasted message from an email alert we sent to every client who had an active massage membership as of 3/16/2020. Please check your junk/spam folders for any messages from info@ or Jeni@  HeelingSole.com to find the original. Updates are noted in BOLD within the message.

With everything that’s going on, the last thing we want you to do is worry about your membership with us. If you have an active membership with Heeling Sole – this post is for you. We understand that some people may be looking at an indefinite future in terms of work and pay – we are also these people!

Because of this, we will be waiving any fees generally associated with premature membership cancellations; if you want to cancel,  you can. However, anyone who decides to cancel his or her membership will forfeit any paid sessions that haven’t been used yet. If you would like to cancel your membership contract with Heeling Sole, it means we won’t charge you further, but what you have paid for and haven’t yet redeemed during a session is forfeited. You must either respond to this email or send an email to info@heelingsole.com so we can get your account situated if you want this option.

All membership money is going towards ensuring the Sasquatches get paid (UPDATE: due to unemployment and PPP options, the membership autodrafts are prepaying for your massages in the future, and helping to cover small bills in the meantime) during this shutdown, so if you would like to keep your membership payments going throughout all of this, you’ll still get to use your massages in the end. We would greatly appreciate your doing so. If you have any autopays that are available to use at the moment and you decide to keep paying for your membership, we will extend their expiration date until the end of July(UPDATE, due to the extended closure, we are pushing the expiration dates out to October, 2020) so you’ll have that much longer to use the pre-paid massages.

I know 4 weeks (Update: originally we thought this would be a shorter closure) feels like an eternity, BELIEVE ME, I KNOW! We are ~hoping~ to be able to come back to work sooner than the 4 week mark, and we have our toes crossed that the hospitals aren’t overrun, that the spread of COVID19 slows, and that America doesn’t see the extreme quarantines that other countries are experiencing.

I’m honestly hoping to reopen at the 3rd week, but it depends on so many things. (Update – the Texas Governor put a shelter-in-place rule into effect, and deemed massage therapy as non-essential business, so we are closed by state mandate through ~at least~ May 18th, 2020, currently) (2nd UPDATE: The state did technically open up abruptly on 5/18, but we ware choosing to stay closed through all of June – with plans to reopen in July IF all our supplies arrive and if Jeni and the staff feel safe.)

If you can afford to wait this out and let the autopays happen, it will greatly help the business overall. (UPDATE: We are not auto-renewing any of these memberships, so wherever you were in the 3 month plan, it will not restart. Please contact Jeni for help on deciphering how many massages you have prepaid to use later, and how many, if any, autopayments remain.)

I am working on creating an online self-massage video for you, with items you can find around the house to help re-create the work we tend to do during your real massages. I’ll charge the general public to view it, more than likely, but I promise to give our active membership clients access to the video for free. Stay tuned. (Update, obviously this came to fruition in the form of our COVIDeo Subscription Service – if you are a membership client, you have free access for 3 months. We would have sent you a User ID and Password email for access. Please contact Jeni if you need help getting into the video subscription sections of the website. Once the 3 free month access is over, you can choose to renew the COVIDeo Subscription service and maintain access to videos for $10/month.)
