Here’s an update as of 8/16/2021 from Jeni Spring

Covid-Policies Update

  • We are still requiring masks during your appointments Masks are still standard industry guidelines from my massage associations and insurances, regardless of vaccination status. We have precautions in place so that you may remove your mask while face down in the face cradle pillow, but your mask must come back on once you turn over
  • New clients are welcome to schedule appointments with Jeni, but not Dawn
  • Both Jeni and Dawn have been fully vaccinated since mid/late March, 2021, and whenever the local COVID levels are above yellow (“Moderate”, “Medium”, “High”, “Severe”, “Critical” or “Extreme”), we will be getting weekly PCR tests to make sure that we aren’t asymptomatic carriers.
  • If local COVID-19 Risk Levels reach into “Severe”, “Critical” or “Extreme”, then negative Covid Tests taken within 3 days of the appointment are required for clientsunless you choose to show proof of full vaccination. We will have rapid tests available onsite for $25 for anyone who forgot to bring their documentation. If you choose not to participate in either of these testing/vaccination precautions with us, then you will need to postpone your appointments until the local level (at this website, https://covid19.sanantonio.gov/Home, or at https://covidactnow.org/us/metro/san-antonio-new-braunfels_tx/) comes down to the greens: (either “Mild” or “Low.”)   If a person arrives for an appointment without a negative test and doesn’t want to take the on-site rapid test or show proof of full vaccination, then the appointment will be considered a no-show and will be charged the full price for the time that was reserved.
  • The pre-screening form/texts are back
  • The Temperature checks are back
  • No appointments if you have any symptoms associated with the COVID19, or you or someone in your household has gotten tested for Covid19, but not yet received results.
  • If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID19, the flu, or have a fever over 100.4, please cancel your appointment to help continue to reduce the spread in our community, and to help keep Heeling Sole running smoothly.
  • 24-hour cancellation policy in full effect: if you have to cancel for any reason, including if you choose not to participate in our prevention steps, please give us 24 hours’ notice to avoid any charges. 50% of your appointment fee may be charged for late cancellations done under 24 hours, and 100% charged for no-shows or onsite refusal of rapid testing.
We are staying diligent on every other front, and are not reducing our air ventilation and filtration or cleaning/sanitization procedures.
