Structural Integration (SI) is a style of bodywork (don’t call it massage: It’s SMARTER than that!) that helps you and I both notice an enhanced awareness of postural patterns in your body. I have been obsessed with this style for years, reading every book, article and taking every webinar I could, which has shaped the work I’ve done so far. I finally took the leap to get my official 500 hour training in to find all the missing, super secret, peices, and it’s just SO amazing! I’m aiming for Summer 2023 to complete the full program, become board certified, and know “ALL THE THINGS!”

How is SI different than Barefoot Massage?

Jeni Spring holding her Anatomy Trains Structural Integration certificate

In a Barefoot Massage, I bodysurf your waves of tension. It’s an endless wave though – have you noticed how you still come back so often? Are you coming back because it feels great, because you want to take a nap, or are you coming back because the symptoms still return?

In a SI session, you’ll learn to stand up, balance and surf your own waves! We’ll start with 3 sessions in a row. I want to try and balance how your body stacks up, get your layers of tissue gliding across each other like my paddle board slides across the water, and help you get woke on some level on how to make your movements easier, so that your body can surf through life from a neutral, balanced place, and watch the symptoms float away.

Why is Jeni doing this?!?!

For most of my career, I have wanted to train in this technique to gain a deeper understanding of myofascial bodywork. I finally made time and stopped everything to make it happen, because I needed some validation for myself on what I thought I knew about anatomy, and also a challenge to keep me out of a rut.

What I didn’t expect is how well this approach really streamlines a lot of my efforts by starting a process of waking your awareness up, which really helps us both to create positive changes in your body together better than ever.

It feels like this is the missing piece to my work, and I’ve still got so much more to learn. Come see whats SUP (that’s a paddle board joke…) Find balance and direction in this new thing: it’ll do our souls (and my SOLEs) some good!

Will you still use your feet?
HEEL Yes!

“I’ve been massaging with my feet for 20 years and chasing your pain while you take a nap is honestly getting kinda boring. Trust me, let’s do this!”
