Myofascial Ashiatsu Barefoot Massage

This service is a Deeper than Deep Tissue Myofascial Release massage –  I just happen to use my feet instead of hands.

You will get to lay on a traditional massage table, undressed yet covered under the sheets, and I’ll use my feet to massage you. I have bars overhead and a supportive sling that are used to help manage the speed, depth and leverage of each massage stroke … and to help keep everyone safe!
Often times people cannot tell the difference between feet and hands. Besides the increased amount of comfortably deep pressure I can dish out, you’d never know it was my feet.  I can work just as detailed with my heels and toes as any skilled hands-on practitioner. I coined the Tshirt saying “Once you try Barefoot Massage, you won’t go back to normal massage”… and this specific service is the one to try and see what I’m talking about!
This work is truly deep, and is not meant to be a medium or light pressured massage.  It is great for dense tissued, large-framed humans who are looking for deeper than deep tissue bodywork to help with chronic pain relief.

Myofascial Ashiatsu Barefoot Massage

What is Myofascial Ashiatsu Barefoot Massage?

Myofascial Ashiatsu Barefoot Massage sessions at Heeling Sole from Jeni Spring are focused on finding restriction patterns in your tissue that contribute to your main complaint of pain or discomfort.⁣ ⁣ Although different areas of your body may be treated within a session, this is not always a “full body” massage. A few good head-to-toe, steamroller-like assessment strokes typically start out the session, then we hone in on the tissue-issue that “kneads” the most focus.⁣ ⁣

Traditional “Hands On” Manual Therapists like Physical Therapists or Chiropractors, Airrosti Providers & advanced fascial trained Massage Therapists employ MANY elements & approaches to Myofascial Release in their work, so you will find these ideas almost everywhere.⁣ ⁣

𝗛𝗢𝗪 𝗨𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗙𝗘𝗘𝗧 𝗔𝗦 𝗔 𝗧𝗢𝗢𝗟 𝗠𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗗𝗜𝗙𝗙𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗧: because I am using my feet, the broader pressure does not have that mentality of “𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘣 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘶 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘤𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘢𝘯 𝘦𝘭𝘣𝘰𝘸 𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘣 𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘭 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘳𝘺.” I use my feet because it diffuses the pressure & doesn’t trigger your pain response in the same way a smaller tool like fingers/elbows/thumbs would.⁣ ⁣

In any Myofascial session, 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻/𝗼𝗶𝗹 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗱 to your body to help get a better grip & engagement of the tissue, 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 me 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 & plyability, 𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙜𝙡𝙤𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙞𝙩. This helps me move 𝘴𝘭𝘭𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘰𝘰𝘸𝘸𝘸𝘸, & give deep, solid, steady sustained pressure to help unstick the stuck parts that hold you back. ⁣ ⁣

𝗠𝘆𝗼𝗳𝗮𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘁 “𝗻𝗼 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗻𝗼 𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻.” 𝗨𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗼𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀… 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀.
