Masking required when Bexar County is RED
Here’s an update as of 2/25/2022 from Jeni Spring
Covid-Policies Update
- We are still requiring masks during your appointments when Bexar County is RED according to the CDC’s Covid-19 Community Level – If red, we all mask. If not, I sure as heck will still be masking, otherwise, if this CDC county check tracker says Bexar is not red, then it’s your choice. But if the local stats raise back up to red, I need everyone to go back into Masked Crusader mode if you want your appointment.
- We will be following CDC Guidelines on this, so if they change again, we will too.
- Masks are still standard industry guidelines from my massage associations and insurances, regardless of vaccination status. KN95’s (or better) are HIGHLY recommended, Surgical masks come in 2nd best, and since fabric masks are not as protective and might get drooled all over during your massage, we are happy to give you a free surgical mask to wear during your massage. It protects us both a little better, and helps keep your Fabric Mask cute. (We can even zap it in our UV cleaning machine during your massage to disinfect it for you!) We have precautions in place so that you may remove your mask while face down in the face cradle pillow, but when the CDC reports Bexar County’s Community Level at red, then your mask must come back on if you turn your head, or while I have you positioned on your side or back.
- Both Jeni and Dawn have been fully vaccinated since mid/late March, 2021, and Jeni was boosted in October 2021.
- Whenever the overall local COVID risk levels (as seen here) are above yellow (“Moderate”, “Medium”, “High”, “Severe”, “Critical” or “Extreme”), Jeni will be getting weekly PCR tests to make sure that I am not an asymptomatic carrier.
Please do not schedule or keep any appointments if you have any symptoms associated with the COVID19, or you or someone in your household has gotten tested for Covid19, but not yet received results. Wait until after your 2nd negative covid test to come in for a session, please.
If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID19, the flu, or have a fever over 100.4, please cancel your appointment and isolate to help continue to reduce the spread in our community, and to help keep Heeling Sole running smoothly. If I get sick, no one gets massages for 10 days, and that will back up the schedule significantly!
24-hour cancellation policy in full effect: if you have to cancel for any reason, including if you choose not to participate in our prevention steps, please give us 24 hours notice to avoid any charges. 50% of your appointment fee may be charged for late cancellations done under 24 hours, and 100% charged for no-shows or onsite refusal of masking when the CDC reports Bexar County’s Community Level at red.
